dCS頂級的Scarlatti數位訊源系統（包括SACD/CD轉盤、數位類比處理器與主時鐘訊號產生器等三件）又添加了一部Scarlatti Upsampler，使得整套Scarlatti數位系統擴充為四部器材。這部Scarlatti Upsampler的特殊功能已經為dCS又創下了數項第一的紀錄，這是一部「D/D 數位轉換器」（digital-to-digital converter），（專利申請號碼GB0817141.5），Scarlatti Upsampler的作用主要是能將數位音樂訊源的取樣頻率轉換到更高的標準，包括音樂CD、個人電腦硬碟與媒體伺服器上的音樂檔案。Scarlatti Upsampler的昇頻處理，將CD昇頻到24bit/88.2kHz，再昇頻至24bit/176.4kHz，轉換為DSD信號。這樣可以讓音樂的細節、音場深度與音像分離度更為精進。
Scarlatti Upsampler數位/數位轉換器主要特色：
- USB端子提供後端dCS Ring DAC數位類比轉換器一個新的通道，讓用戶的個人電腦音樂檔案能得到Hi-End等級的重播聲音品質。
- 採用尖端多模式相位鎖定迴路（phase locked loop，PLL），能有效降低時鐘之時基誤差。
- 透過更快速、100%精確的DSP晶片提供更好的音樂細節。
- 更高容量的可程式化FPGA（Field Programmable Gate Arrays），可容納更多的功能。
- 更進化的電源供應，使操作溫度更低並增加對交流電源變化的容許度。
- 未來能透過dCS提供的光碟片進行韌體升級，增加對新數位格式的對應或新功能。
- 加入多層聲學阻尼處理航太等級鋁材機箱，能降低磁力與震動的影響。
- 具備低功率液晶顯示幕，讓用戶很容易讀取相關資訊，並有低功率需求與最小化電磁干擾的特性。
